Here, we have four cases. Each involves justice, the law, or both.
First, the obvious ... the Eastern European country of Belarus's Council for Morality has put a stop to the upcoming Rammstein concert at Minsk Arena. The council cited the group's penchant for lyrics about "violence, masochism, homosexuality and other abnormalities," and they said that allowing the March 7th show to go on would prove a "costly mistake." The council wants to prevent "extremism."

I'm surprised the Thought Police didn't weigh in on the issue.
Now, this, I agree with.
Proving that musicians can make their own wacky decisions, Machine Head vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn says that the band does not go to San Diego anymore and that the city is, in fact, "fired."
Flynn explains that San Diego crowds are not awesome, before elaborating, "They don't come to a show and rage and go crazy. They come to a show and say, 'Okay... this is cool. Oh, I like this song.' We're not into that. I don't know why they come to a rock show with that kind of attitude."
That's some attitude those crowds have! Not awesome! Average! But Robb Flynn will be Robb Flynn, and he does have that extra 'b' in his name.
Another case that left me wondering "someone actually said this?" is this: sex addict Phil Varone, who played drums in Skid Row from 2000 to 2003, filed a lawsuit against two of his former bandmates, alleging that they "have embarked on a crusade to spread vicious lies about Varone in an effort to destroy his professional and personal reputation" and "to prevent him from truthfully describing his career history as the drummer for Skid Row, by contending that his use of the band name is trademark infringement."
For instance? Well, Varone reportedly claims that two of his former Skid Row bandmates and their lawyer contacted night clubs and both Oprah Winfrey's and Tyra Banks's talk shows in advance of his appearances in connection with his appearance on "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew" and they successfully prevented Varone from being identified as a former drummer of Skid Row.
Not to spend too long on this one, but just read the opening paragraph of his complaint: "Plaintiff Varone is, first and foremost, a rock star. One can see that just by looking at him. He has the black hair, extensive tattoos and good looks of the world's most popular rock and rollers."
Finally, it was left to Courtney Love to come up with an appropriate punishment for John Mayer after he said all those inappropriate things in that Playboy interview.
As reported many places, like this one, Love wrote the following via Twitter: "Do you ever feel like spite hate f***ing John Mayer. Just to put him in his place, he's a better guitarist than me but not better in bed! Say your (sic) f***ing John Mayer totally throwing him around the room in bits and then you just BAM punch him in the face? good times..."
I love how she says that as if it was a safe bet that we were all thinking along those lines.
