ROB ZOMBIE
Hellbilly Deluxe 2
www.robzombie.com
Dist: Warner Music Canada

Rob Zombie has continuously challenged audiences as he stretches the boundaries of film, music and publishing. He has sold over 15 million albums with the band White Zombie and his current solo career. He has also been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, directed four major motion pictures and much more. He is truly a renaissance man and an artist in every sense of the word. HellBilly Deluxe 2 is the sequel to the multi-platinum solo debut HellbillyDeluxe. The album harkens back to the classic album with its music, artwork and is exactly what the Rob Zombie fan has been waiting for. The first Single from the album is “SICK BUBBLEGUM.”

THE SORRYS
Neanderthal Cell Phone

www.myspace.com/thesorrys
Dist: Sonic Unyon

The Sorrys are not actually all that sorry. Based in Halifax, they deliver “a classic indie rock sound, powered by super-catchy choruses” (Exclaim!
Magazine) and “smart, universally poignant lyrics” (Crawdaddy! Magazine). Their debut record, The Last Clear Thought Before You Fall Backwards (2007) was recorded by Charles Austin and mixed by Todd Tobias (best known for his work with Guided by Voices and Robert Pollard). Two short years later, The Sorrys have returned to unleash their new album Neanderthal Cell Phone. The Sorrys find their fire on their second album (recorded and co-produced by regular partner Charles Austin) and the result has all the unabashed lyricism and idiosyncratic rock heritage that people have come to expect, in a coherent sonic package.

A ROCKET TO THE MOON
On Your Side

www.myspace.com/arockettothemoon
Dist: Warner Music Canada

The brainchild of Braintree, Massachusetts-based songwriter/musician Nick Santino, A Rocket To The Moon was started in the summer of 2006 as a musical experiment until overwhelming positive feedback led him to continue with the project. Santino assembled a band of musicians in early 2008 and after spending a solid year out on the road in support of their EP GREETINGS FROM... A Rocket To The Moon are more than ready to release their long awaited debut album ON YOUR SIDE. Produced by Matt Squire (3OH!3, All Time Low, The Used and Panic! At The Disco), ON YOUR SIDE shows the dynamics of the band with a sound that can be described as mature pop rock with big hooks and catchy melodies. The album features lead tracks ‘Mr. Right' and ‘Annabelle.'

HADOUKEN!
For The Masses www.www.hadouken.co.uk/
Dist: Sony Music Canada

Hadouken!’s Canadian debut For The Masses cements their reputation as Britain’s most dynamic and forward-thinking youth culture buzz band who’s last album debuted at #12 on the UK album chart and #4 in Japan. Recorded in Holland with gilded Dutch electronic dance producers Noisia, For The Masses evolves the cutting edge dance-rock sound unveiled on their 2008 Music For An Accelerated Culture, by delivering tracks that are harder, louder, more rhythmic and tightly focused than anything they’ve attempted before. If it sounds a bit like the spirit of Nirvana or Rage Against The Machine being channeled through the Prodigy then that’s uncanny: that’s exactly what Hadouken! were aiming for with the live show, as well as the album.

DOMMIN
Love Is Gone

www.myspace.com/dommin
Dist: Warner Music Canada

“Dommin is the sound of the brokenhearted,” explains Kristofer Dommin, frontman for the Los Angeles quartet that puts a very fresh spin on a very familiar pain. Dommin are inviting everyone to join them in the dark introspection that goes hand in hand with heartbreak. On their Roadrunner Records debut, Love Is Gone, Dommin delves into complex relationships, damaged psyches and much more. The origins of Dommin can be traced back to 2000, when Kristofer formed the band in San Dimas, just outside of
Los Angeles. He added Billy James to the fold as keyboardist two years later and the band’s line-up began to take shape as James eventually switched to bass when the pair found Konstantine in 2006. Dommin’s vision was becoming fully realized. By this time, Kristofer had already written many of the songs that would comprise Love Is Gone. The last ingredient in Dommin’s sonic stew came in the form of drummer Cameron Morris, who joined in 2007. Welcome to the end of love and the beginning of Dommin

GREG SCZEBEL
Love & The Lack Thereof
www.myspace.com/gregsczebel
Dist: Fontana North

Probably not in the sense that you're thinking, but, 'Love' has been on Greg's mind for a long time. After two years of writing, recording, re-writing and re-recording a collection of songs until they felt just right he's ready to go public with Love & The Lack Thereof, his second album. And not unlike a new relationship Sczebel says, "We promised ourselves we wouldn't rush it. And we definitely kept that promise!" he laughs."It was so important for us that we took our time and it was also really important that we didn't create something that had an obvious time-stamp on it. I didn't want to listen to it 20 years from now and say, 'That album was so 2009.’ For the most part we steered away from any super trendy production sounds and just tried to create some really impacting musical and lyrical moments that people can carry with them throughout life." And you can tell he succeeded the moment you hear it.

TWIN TIGERS
Gray Waves
www.myspace.com/thetwintigers
