Book for Depeche Mode Fans

Posted by: Alan Cross | Feb 26 2010 12:00AM

Depeche Mode was formed in Basildon, England, back in 1980.  And boy, are there stories.  Most surround singer Dave Gahan and all his trials and issues and tribulations and dalliances with drugs and death.

There is a new book that focuses on Dave’s story called Dave Gahan: Depeche Mode and The Second Coming.  It’s a pretty comprehensive summary of everything Dave and the band has gone through over the last thirty years.

Even if you’re a hardcore fan who already knows most of this stuff, it’s a nice refresher course.  Dave Gahan: Depeche Mode and The Second Coming is by Trevor Baker and is published by Independent Music Press.
