Jack White’s Resume

Posted by: Alan Cross | Jun 30 2009 6:00AM

Jack White has to be one of the busiest guys in rock these days. In addition to the White Stripes, he’s in the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather.

He produces records for all kinds of people, including country star Loretta Lynn. He’s making a White Stripes documentary. He was in a documentary on guitars called It Might Get Loud with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and the Edge of U2.

He’s been in movies with Nicole Kidman and John C. Reilly. He runs a record label called Third Man Records–which, by the way, has its own vinyl-only store in Nashville plus an Internet storefront. Third Man also has its own recording studio where bands come to rehearse and record.

Oh, and he has a family. I once asked Jack how the wife and kids were and he said "People tell me that they’re fine."
