While Halifax is one of the few remaining Canadian markets without the Legends of Classic Rock series, what they do have this week is the sister of a Legend.

George's big sister Louise Harrison is on Canada's east coast today, the day George would have turned 67,  paying tribute with a couple concerts.

And now, a little Legends tribute of our own.

Enjoy,

Jeff.

Happy Birthday, dear George, my favorite Beatle. Thank you for leaving us the legacy of your music and your kindness. So gentle and quiet, your music touches my soul. And for everyone else, DON'T SMOKE. If George hadnt smoked he probably would still be here with us.

Jeff Woods: Thanks for your words Lori

Its sad that he's gone. He didn't get the exposure in the Beatles that I think he deserved, but was real quality.

Jeff Woods: Thanks for writing.
