A Tribute to Bon Scott of ACDC this weekend

That's Angus Young with the devil horns.  At the far left, his brother Malcolm. To the right, his brother from a different mother, Bon Scott.

All three emigrated with their families, as kids, to Australia.   The bond they forged extends beyond the grave.  Today, 30 years ago, Bon was on his way their, upon his death in the backseat of a car in London England.   He'd been out to a club to hear some music and have some drinks.  Bon lived all of his 9 lives in just 33 years.

I will take you through the history of Bon's rise to fame through those final moments, this weekend on the Legends weekly show, with several live gems and studio classics.

For the biggest of ACDC fans, you will also find a 5 part documentary on Bon,  the first of which I'll give you here now and if you want more, you can go directly to Youtube for the rest .

Hello Jeff, I really enjoyed listening to the tribute for Bon Scott this past weekend. I am a huge fan of AC/DC and have all known ablums as well as some very rare stuff also. I am wondering if you can please tell me where I maybe able to get a copy of this show. I would appreciate this information as I would like to be able to listen to it again in the future. Thanks alot Sincereley Graham Blair

Jeff Woods: Thanks Graham. I hope that we will, one day, be able to begin (again) streaming past Legends programs. It was halted because of the inability to come to a reasonable agreement with the music business (labels)over rights.

Hi Jeff, I think I have said this before here, however Bon Scott was the best miss his singing and down to earth qualities.Brian seems the same on all levels, however Im sorry his voice kills me..Im a voice person and this guy does not do it But love all else about him. R.I.P Bon Scott. cheers

Jeff Woods: Thx Deb. From the last shows through Toronto, I think Brian is a perfect front man for ACDC, a vocalist who really effectively serves the song and the band before himself, realizing that Angus is the big show. Bon was Bon, and he was great, agreed.
