So, it's 2010, 40 years since the death of JIMI, and this year the Jimi Hendrix Foundation is busy on the phone finding ways to further expose the Legend's work. For example, last week I posted the interview I did with Hendrix bassist Billy Cox. Just now I received a dozens of clips of people, some of whom where close to Jimi, talking about him and his music and plans around it this year. I will sift through and see what could be of interest to fans and perhaps feature in an a Legends show or series.
While were talking JIMI, occasional Legends Blog contributor Brent sends this one along. He once mentioned to me that the Hendrix tracks on Guitar Hero World Tour were the best he'd ever heard from Hendrix, outside of vinyl. As for the possibility of Hendrix coming to Rockband simply click HERE.
My favourite thing about these games, is using the whammy bar. This is what you would call a 'whammy bar workout':
And before I go do something else, here is a link to our friend Brent's blog, featuring one of the more creative titles around i.e. '2 a-holes talking about nerd stuff' (features some outstanding content!)
