It Might Get Loud with Jimmy Page and friends

I finally saw the whole film "It Might Get Loud".  Have you seen it yet???   It made me an even bigger fan of Jimmy Page, The Edge and especially Jack White.   Imagine, in 2010, an artist that rather than going to the store and purchasing the finest guitar money can buy, would prefer to build his own with some wire, a pop bottle, a battery and some scrap wood.    And he's very funny, without intention.     I love this film.   Here's a bit of history:

"It Might Get Loud" premiered at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival, and played at Sundance and the Berlin Film Festival in 2009.  The film received generally favorable reviews, achieving an average critic review score of 70% on Metacritic and currently holds a certified fresh percentage of 78% on  Rotten Tomatoes with a consensus of: "An affectionate tribute to rock's most distinctive instrument, It Might Get Loud is insightful and musically satisfying".

Indeed.  You can find it where you buy music.

Here's the trailer.

Enjoy,

Glad you Blog'd about this; I saw a trailer while in my local Video store; looked really interesting and something I'll catch when it comes to DVD-rental. By-the-way; how about a Classic Rock epic on Rock in Film (sound tracks made famous)? Cheers, Bob

Jeff Woods: Great point Bob, it's been a while since I did music from movies. (Legends #136 Classic Rock on the Big Screen). Perhaps I'll revisit at some point. Cheers.
