I'm putting together Legends weekly episode # 298 - Your Beginners Guide to Collecting Vinyl, in which I'll share everything one needs to know about collecting vinyl from the history of the L.P. to how to care for records, how to assess their value, the most collectible artists, coloured vinyl, some of the rarest records, and where to buy sell and trade vinyl.  That'll air across Canada this weekend.

Meanwhile - some of the worst album covers ever ...

Enjoy.

And please forgive the music bed .... wasn't my doing ... might wanna turn the volume down.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Saddest part is a good percentage were Christian music. How did the Jewish Messiah who whupped the religious leaders in the Temple and actually lived through the Roman's savage beating (to be crucified) ever get to be represented by such awful and tasteless music and art? They in no way represent who He realy is and certainly don't inspire people to want to find out about Him.

Jeff Woods: Speaking of Jesus, um, I mean, the other jesus, saw The Big Lebowski on the weekend, after all these years, and John Turturro was priceless.

Most of those covers are really hard to fathom. Really difficult to imagine where the concept for the covers originated. So the hell with them! Let's move on to LOCR #298!!!!

Jeff Woods: Just finished putting it together ... catcha on the air this weekend. cheers.

that is some of the most disturbing content I've ever seen ... yet strangely I want them in my collection. I'm not sure if you'll admit to it in public but tell me you have some of those gems in your collection!

Jeff Woods: I wish I did have some of those covers. I do have some super cheezy stuff but none of those. Thanks J.

Hi Jeff, Those are some pretty smelly covers. There's tacky and then there's lazy, like the brown album or the white album... I'm all for artistic expression but c'mon... or dare I say it, wrapping the album in brown paper so as not to be able to see which version you were buying. Shocked? I am too. Even Zepp has P'd me off. But that was 'marketing' right? ah whadever. So in conclusion..(I'm going to try and save this blog from the moody monster)... I guess anyone can put out a pic of whatever and sell it as art. Good for them, and for those who buy them. To each their own and please keep those albums away from my eyes, I'm having a hard time seeing now. haha ;)

Jeff Woods: Anything to set oneself apart from the next guy! Cheers Jon
