How come nobody's mentioned Jimmy. It's his band. Plant is just the face. Much the same as The Who was Pete's band. If Jimmy isn't there, it just ain't Zep.

Jeff Woods: Good point. It think it's just that it has for a long time seemed that Plant has been the hold out, and Jones has been the shut-out. It's believed that of the three, Jimmy appears to be the one that would say yes, most easily, to doing something.

couldn't resist a zep comment... for what it's worth, Led Zeppelin was and what should never be - The Levee gone done did broke - Achilles made his last stand - the Communication Breakdown was terminal - and of course John took the band with him walking the Stairway to Heaven... O2 was great, let's leave it at that shall we boys ???

Jeff Woods: Nice. Your best yet, perfectly contextual. Cheers Jon.

If this happens I will lose all respect for that band. Robert has had an amazing resurgance that past couple of years and I thought John Paul Jones had moved on as well. I prefer to rememeber how they sounded back in the day not how bad they would sound trying to recreate it today. I heard a recording of them doing Ocean for the Atlantic show. It sounded like the 80's band Slaughter were rehearsing. God awful and not how I want the biggest band of the 70's to got out.

Jeff Woods: I don't think there's much chance of Zep reunion, I think the comment was simply underscoring how there's more to the decisions around what John Paul Jones does or doesn't do, than what Robert thinks. Cheers Dave.
