First things first.  If you've posted a comment here in the last several days, sorry it took 'til last night to appear.  Call me crazy, but that kind of thing drives me coo-coo, 'that' being computer glitches.  Details aside, thanks for coming back regularly.   We're coming up to four years of the Legends blog!

Starting last Wednesday, and most often on Wednesdays, I'm going to post a link here to 'The List' - 7 song recommendations from my collection.   (today's forthcoming).   Last week, Mex commented on one of the tunes:  "Her mannerisms, gestures and natural earthy presence brings joy to our hearts.  I have pointed my daughter her way and if she can become 1/10th of the artist that Victoria is i will be the proudest father in THE AMERICAS.    J.W. Is there any way you can find and post Victoria's video?  Thanks, Mexdale

Sure Mex, I can.   Victoria Williams is a hero.   Sat on the grass with her in Calgary on day in the last half of the 90's and chatted and I was mesmerized by how sweet and wonderful she is.

Most will know the Pearl Jam version of this song, that she wrote.

Here's one featuring Victoria herself, with Lou Reed.

Enjoy

Jeff.

Thank you so much Jeff. It was so nice of you to post the video for my dad. I am his daughter and he got rally excited when he saw the post on the blog. He sent me an e-mail really quick telling me to check it out. I will be big. I will be a rockstar. I adore you and Victoria. And im going to make my dad proud. Someday you will see me on tv or somewhere and you will know that it's just... me. Thanks.

Jeff Woods: I have all the faith you'll make him proud! Cheers.

Thanks for the video-Victoria and Lou Reed. There was a different one that showed Victoria singing as well as a visusl of Crazy Mary ,the store and the area. The old car etc .etc.That is the one that i have been trying to re-find.I guess her recording company had it taken off of youtube.I will look and see where i can buy it.Thanks J.W. Mex

Jeff Woods: There were a few, but the other one that was a great was the 2nd part of a double shot, and couldn't find the one you love either. But glad this one did the trick for you and your girl. Cheers.
